life of blaze chapter 10: a new friend

--day 3 of blaze's days off--

blaze was bored, it was early in the morning as he laid on the chair back.
"nnnngghhh" *he moaned as he waited for the sun to come up further*
"ugh, a screw this, i'm going to do something" he said standing up from the chair,
he wasnt wearing his armour but instead a pair of jeans and a red shirt who where as red as his eyes.

he cracked his neck as he went out the door, but instead went up to the roof and leapt up another,
his strong legs giving him the ability to leap over longer ledges then a normal person could
since it was so early he wasnt noticed as soon he was near a park, he leapt of the roof
and landed with ease. looking around he saw the park was pretty big and with this light a great view.

he heard a sigh as he passed a larger bush and stopped right there. turning his head he could see the bush move a bit,
bits of black hide being seen through the cracks and curiousity got the best of the titan.
"who is there"*he said as he walked closer and grapped a branch, pulling it aside to walk closer.
a large black dragon laid there, wounds and scars over his body, though not large but they where many of them.
his wings where ragged at the ends and looked like they got a beating, but there was something friendly about him
blaze looked more down his neck and his head, then saw his eyes open*
"who are you" he said jumping back up
"does that really matter, what happened to you?" blaze said not moving
"go away, it isnt your buisness" *he tried standing on all fours but shivered
"you probably broke a bone there, you need help man"
"fuck off, i dont need your..." *thumb* the pain overtook the dragon and he feel down on his belly, the pain knocking him out
"dammit blaze" *tenebriss said in his head* "now what"
"we take care of him, i have the feeling he is gonna be important"

11:24, blaze's APPARTMENT

the dragon woke up in the livingroom, the only room big enough for him.
the room smelled like cooked meat and spices, coming from the kitchen next to it and almost on que blaze walked out it
"you're awake" blaze said, slightly happy that he woke up
"why....where am i?"
"my place, and i couldnt let you there so i dragged you here......plus i fixed your leg, just dont walk on it for a while"
"fixed my..." *the dragon looked down at his right front leg
he was taken aback by this, nobody has been this nice to him in so long, then he started thinking.
blaze said he dragged him there, but how was that seeing not only the size difference but also the size of the doors.
he dropped it when blaze put a tray of meat on the table. "why are you being so nice for me....you dont even know me"
"mmm, well i just feel like it. please eat, you look starved" he said sitting down against the dragon."name is blaze by the way, ignis blaze"
"ignis blaze? is that latin?" *the dragon said tilting his head and then looking down at the meat.
it looked delicous and smelled even better.
"yes, well blaze is my nickname really but i like it" he said looking the dragon in the eyes, only now the dragon noticed his almost glowing red eyes.
"well.....i'm nightshade, its nice to meet you" he said and took a bit of meat to test it.
it tasted great, but when he looked blaze in the eye he felt a chill down his spine, he had never seen a human this intimidating yet friendly, maybe it was the scar or his eyes that made him scary but he also had a smile all the time that made him look welcoming.
"well its nice to meet you nightshade, you're welcome here to stay how long you want"
"thanks, but i really cant..." nightshade was cut of by blaze
"no its fine, i'm gonna get the things for supper, do you want something special?"
"i'm fine thanks, thanks for helping me" it felt weird for him to say thanks after all this time, but in a good way.
"ok, i'm off then" *blaze said muching down the piece of meat quickly and stook up. "seeya"
"bye" *nightshade nodded as he say blaze walk out the door and out his sight.
it left him wondering still how he could fit his body through the door.
